Current Top 5 Teams In Spanish League

Barcelona is one of the strongest and most successful team in the Spanish league, which has won 19 league titles. It is located in the region Catalonia, Spain. Its stadium is known as Camp Nou, with the capacity of 98,782 square feet. Currently, under Josep Guardiola as a head coach, the club is able to hold the top ranking in the Spanish league, followed by Real Madrid, and Valencia in the third position.

Real Madrid is known for its achievement in the league. Most of the titles since 1930 were dominated by the Madrid. Despite of their dominance in the league, Real Madrid is now at the second place after Barcelona, with the difference of 1 point. Real Madrid located in the region of Madrid.

Valencia was once relegated to the Segunda Division in the year 1987-1988. With a few matches remaining in the current league, Valencia settles in the third place after Real Madrid to compete for the champion title. Valencia F.C is located in the region of Valencia with their own stadium named Mestalla.





For the last few seasons, Mallorca didn’t finish at the top five ranking in the Spanish league. Only this year, the club is back and manages to hold the fourth place with seven points behind Valencia, and a point lead to Sevilla. Mallorca is located in the region Balearic Islands.



Sevilla is another team that holds the top 5 ranking in the league since few decades back. Currently after appointing Antonio Alvarez as a coach, Sevilla still in the top 5 ranking, a point behind Mallorca. Sevilla was once relegated to the Segunda Division in the Year 2001-2002.
